Auran announces Fury

Auran Games, developer of the train simulation series Trainz, has announced its entry into the MMO market with Fury, taking the best elements of the FPS genre with instant action, fast pacing and lots of different game types and combining them with typical MMO aspects – teamwork, advancement and large-scale combat.
The core of the game – not unlike Planetside – is made up of PvP combat. Players can earn rewards and beef up their characters with a flexible and interesting advancement system. Auran said that their focus on one specific gameplay component will make Fury the “best in class”.

The implementation of unique social and matchmaking systems will help new and casual players to get into the game, while offering enough depth and variety to attract hardcore gamers as well.

Fury will debut at E3, and as a part of the promotion, Auran Games will be hosting a competition there, with hundreds of prizes sponsored by Logitech, Nvidia, AMD and IGN up for grabs.
