Famed iPhone homebrew developer, Big Boss has another little gem for us: FontSwap
If you’re familiar with older versions of FontSwap this one is now up to Firmware 2.x and sports a different GUI to celebrate the occasion. Apart from that, it’s more or less the same thing. Simply put, FontSwap is designed to change your iPhone’s (or iPod Touch’s) fonts.
The main menu of the program has four options:
- Dialer Fonts, which controls the font display on your keypad (when you manually dial a number)
- LockClock fonts, which controls the font display on your clock when on the “locked” screen.
- Notes Fonts, which controls the font display on the Notes application
- System Fonts, which controls the font display of much everything else.
Simply select the font you wish to change from the four choices available, select the font you want to replace it with, then select “Install and Respring.” After the respring-ing, you should see your new font.
Mind you, there are still some bugs being worked out. A confirmed one is a tendency for the iPhone to crash during installation. If this happens to you, simply restart your phone and try again.
