More Starcraft II videos: Speedy Zealots, exploding Zerg, and Colossi
Since we promised that we’d have our internet hamsters dig through the internets to get you videos of the Starcraft 2 Announcement at the Blizzard Worldwide Invitational, here’s an update for you folks.
We have two more videos for you. First up, one showing how Terrans and Protoss violently interact. This video gives out details on the new Protoss strategies. The second one shows how dangerous the Zerg are now. For one thing the Zerg seem to have taken the time to read up on some Frank Herbert. Click on play, and you’ll get what we’re trying to say.

What’s funny is that while the Zerg seem inspired by Dune, the Protoss used the time gap (it’s been how many years since Brood Wars?) to learn from HG Wells. Those Protoss Colossi just scream War of the Worlds. Kidding aside, giving some ground units the ability to instantly move from one ground height to another, without using ramps, opens up a lot of new strategic possibilities.
