New Screens and Gameplay Videos for Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom

Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom

After watching these videos for Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom, you’d be itching to get your hands on the games for sure. The latest build revealed by Sony Entertainment Online had three, yes three, characters for players to try. Unfortunately, we can only talk about two – Warrior and Scout – of the characters for now.

Thor would die of envy when he sees what the Warrior character is packing. One swing of his hammer and his enemies just went down. Look out for the spinning move (pretty useful if you’re surrounded by enemies) that he made in one of the videos. However, the real show stopper was the agile Scout. Her running slash move is jaw dropping.

Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom

Although, SOE hasn’t made any mentions of possible “entitlements” there are a lot of in-game rewards that players can strive for like skyrocketing their character’s level to 50 or search for rare and powerful items, armor, and weapons. There are 20 game levels to conquer and estimated completion is in the area of 12 to 18 hours depending on the size of the party. Players can save anywhere, anytime, but can only respawn at specific locations throughout the stages.

If they are tightlipped about “entitlements” they’re generous in dishing out teasers. They are promising a multiplayer deathmatch mode for free, however, if you want a fourth character class, new story elements, stages and maps, you’d have to toss a few bucks their way.

Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom comes to the PLAYSTATION 3 on November 17, 2006.
