Video: The Darkness multiplayer gameplay
Here’s a rare treat for those of us keeping close tabs on 2K Games‘ The Darkness for the PS3 and the Xbox 360. Instead of a juicy video that shows off the game’s already awesome single player mode, here’s an even juicier video that practically flaunts how multiplayer gameplay is going to be pretty much a blast.
In the many FPS titles out there, we’re all used to seeing humanoid characters run around with rifles. And while not necessarily being a bad thing, it pales in comparison to seeing your opponent charge at you from a long corridor, only to explode in a burst of darkness and lunge at you as a gibbering, shrieking demon intent on tearing your heart out and making a snack of it. That’s pretty much how The Darkness plays, as far as multiplayer is concerned – and yes, this only makes us want the game even more.
