Vigil: No demo for Darksiders, DLC a possibility

In Vigil Games’ Darksiders , players get to wreak havoc on a blasted and ruined world as War, one of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse. Sounds intense, right? Too bad there won’t be a demo.

 

 

 

In Vigil Games’ Darksiders , players get to wreak havoc on a blasted and ruined world as War, one of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse. Sounds intense, right? Too bad there won’t be a demo.

 

Speaking to VG247, Vigil general manager David Adams said that their development schedule just got too tight, not leaving any time for a demo.

 

“We aren’t doing a demo,” he said. “We didn’t have the time or resources to prepare one – finishing the game came right down to the wire.”

 

Adams also spoke a bit about possible DLC. While there’s none planned yet, Adams said that the possibility is always there. “We’re just glad to have the base game done,” he added.

 

Darksiders is tracking an early January release on PS3 and Xbox 360.
