Ain’t in Kansas no more: Blizzard hotfixes Cyclones

Perhaps those Storm Crow Druids have gone too far with THIS cyclone... - Image 1Blizzard blue poster Eyonix announced in the World of Warcraft forums that they’ve “pushed a hotfix that corrected an issue with the Druid ability, Cyclone. This spell no longer causes the targeted player to be considered dead for the arena counter.” Short, sweet announcement, no elaborations made – which probably means that Cyclones will still knock Auras out.

Which probably still means that debates about nerfing Druids or their abilities (or protesting such moves) will still continue. The fair assessment of this fix, though, is that Cyclones can’t be used anymore for a quick (though dirty) win in Arenas.

Well, at least there’s the power of flight. But, er… maybe you can just peck someone’s eyes out, or something. Or maybe not. The perils of being a crow…
