Assassin’s Creed II now holds record for most appearances on a magazine cover

Ubisoft has now received the confirmation from the Gamer’s Edition of Guinness World Records, the global authority for both the interesting and bizarre superlatives. Assassin’s Creed II was featured as a cover story for 127 different publications across 32 countries between April 2009 to April 2010.

 

“I’m sure plenty of commentators (including myself) would have predicted another well-known game winning the title instead,” said Gaz Deaves, Editor of Guinness World Records Gamer’s Edition. “and this achievement is even more impressive in view of the other 2009 releases that Assassin’s Creed II was able to beat.”
