BioShock PlayStation 3 officially dated, arriving October

Take-Two Interactive has finally given a release window for BioShock for the PlayStation 3 via Press Release. Woot! This should stifle doubters still out there. Info in the full article.

Rumors of a PlayStation 3 version of BioShock have been around for a long time (since 2006, even). These rumors resurfaced full force when a scan of the July cover for PSM3 was leaked. If that wasn’t enough for you though, how about this: Take-Two Interactive itself has officially provided a release window.

According to a press release from T2, BioShock for the PlayStation 3 will arrive this October, along with new features and content. No word on what exactly the new features and content are, but hopefully they’ll be enough to compensate for the long wait. T2’s new studio, 2K Marin, is the branch handling the game’s translation into the Sony console.
