Bloody hell, it’s a Silent Hill 5 screenshot

It’s rare that we would dedicate a whole article to just one solitary screenshot. But heck, it’s a Silent Hill 5 screenshot, and for all intents and purposes, we haven’t seen much footage of it yet. While we’d normally just wait for a whole batch of screens to trickle in, we couldn’t pass this one up. Check it out:

Those creepy nurses are back with a vengeance (and with some curves to boot). Mmm… Hannibal Lecter is très pleased. Finally it’s a screenshot with real action. The previous two screens were pretty bare – one of which has protagonist Alex Shephard walking alone down a dark corridor. Today, blood is finally drawn.

Now we’re not sure if this screen is taken from the PS3 version or that of the Xbox 360. In fact, as screens usually go, it doesn’t look as crisp as it should be. This could have been taken from a video, perhaps? Or maybe even a scan.

Nonetheless, Silent Hill 5 is living up to its name, with Konami being silent on any news on development (aside from the fact that it’s going to be worked on by a US team)… We’ll keep you guys updated!
