Bungie: Halo 2 Blastacular Map Pack issues fixed

Master Chief - Image 1Good news for those of you having problems downloading the latest Blastacular Map Pack for Halo 2 – Bungie’s just recently implemented a fix that would hopefully end all your worries, bundled along with the company’s sincerest apologies.

Bungie reiterates that the download issues were caused by either getting the maps for free, or accidentally downloading on a Silver and then on a Gold account, or conflicts with the age ratings between the 360 dashboard and the original Xbox. Despite this, however, the implemented “fix” should bypass all these issues and let everyone download the pack. Bungie also notes that the problem could be a blessing in disguise, as they can now introduce the maps faster into matchmaking. Yay!

On the off chance that you’re still having problems with the map pack or the billing, Bungie reminds everyone to try the usual support numbers and contact information at xbox.com.
