Capcom expecting Marvel vs. Capcom 3 to sell 2 million copies

From what we know so far, it looks like Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will be quite the game. It’s been in development since 2008, Dante will be in it, and so will Chris Redfield. There are other interesting details as well, and the Street Fighter IV graphics style is really looking sweet. Capcom’s got high hopes for the game. How high? They set the number at two million copies.

Capcom didn’t do so hot over the last quarter, so they’ll be needing that boost from a major franchise. They’re expecting more out of Monster Hunter Freedom 3, which they’d like to sell 3.6 million copies.
