With the development of Street Fighter 4 proceeding steadily, Capcom has shared more gameplay details and screenshots regarding this much-awaited sequel. This time around, the finer details of the saving system, the revenge gauge, and the ultra combos get the spotlight

Generally speaking, the saving system is the combat system under which all fighting techniques in Street Fighter 4 are subsumed. The revenge gauge, a gauge reminiscent of super meters in other Capcom fighting games, allows players to execute high-priority (read: invincible) “saving strikes” and powerful EX attacks in a pinch.

Finally, ultra combos are super moves from previous Street Fighter games on steroids – think uber damage and 3D cinematics to boot. As tests were conducted on a version of the game that was one to two percent complete, so expect Capcom to make many more changes and tweaks to Street Fighter 4 before the final version of the game rolls out.
