After teasing us with countless screenshots, Capcom finally showcased a playable build of Bionic Commando (Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3, PC) at the Consumer Electronics Show 2008. No need to fret if you missed what swung around CES floor, because here’s a couple of videos showing Nathan Spencer in action.

Unlike your typical third-person shooter, as most fans keeping tabs on the classic’s revival would know, Bionic Commando employs a swinging mechanic. According to Capcom’s representative on CES floor, the game’s realistic physics will allow players to use the Bionic Arm on every object and enemy. Combat will involve both gunplay and grappling foes to throw them around.
