City of Heroes kicks off Halloween season on October 18
MMORPGs do have their own versions of Halloween festivities and City of Heroes is not exempted. Actually, there will be 10 more days left before you should all gear up for the coming of the fiends (from the Unseelie court), Vampires, and werewolves to Paragon City. True, Lord Recluse has already sent out orders for mandatory Halloween cheer among the populace, but that doesn’t stop the villains, Jack-in-Irons and the Pumpkin King, to start wrecking havoc on the eve of Halloween at Croatoa. So what have we got to do?
Croatoa’s Ravenwing Cabal lets you combat this dark tide, as well as enjoy the Halloween season with a little help from member Annah in Croatoa. Finding her lets you learn more about fighting these rumored dangers. Also, Granny Beldam, a rogue member of the Cabal, will give more encouraging hints to the villains around Nerva Archipelago.
Rogue Isles is definitely going to be an exciting, albeit creepy, little setting in the City of Heroes by Halloween. All the members are invited to wear their unique costumes to ward off mystical threat, and maybe hop from one place to another for a trick or treat!
