CoD4: Modern Warfare special “Making of Crash” trailer unveiled

Infinity Ward and Activision‘s Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare for the PC (also for release later on the Sony PlayStation 3, Microsoft Xbox 360) is almost upon us and we can’t get more excited than we already are to do some contemporary combat. Waiting is always tough, especially when we hit the home stretch like this. Fortunately, we’ve got a new trailer from Activision and it’s called The Exclusive Making of Crash.

Waiting is always tough, especially when we hit the home stretch like this. Fortunately, we’ve got a new trailer from Activision and it’s called The Exclusive Making of Crash. Have a look:

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, as the name suggests, takes place in a time frame that hits close to home for today’s generation. Most of the screenshots and trailers that we’ve seen so far suggest that the geographical setting will be Middle Eastern, but there are indications that we might be seeing some action in Russia. Flashback missions from 15 years ago are also said to be in store for us in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

Story-wise, we’re seeing a very solid premise as of this time. We know that a Soviet loyalist is masterminding a plot to plunge Russia back to its Cold War form and that the coup d’etat in the Middle East is a decoy funded by the same man to throw off American and British forces. We’ll be seeing the plot unfold in the eyes of a British 22nd Special Air Service (SAS) operative and an America Force Recon specialist.
