After the big reveal just last week of Tecmo bringing over Undead Knights to the US, we now have here some more details on gameplay, as well as some screenshots, thanks once more to the goldmine that is the latest edition of Japanese magazine, Famitsu.
Says the magazine, players will be able to pick one of the characters from three choices at the beginning of the game. Each of these characters possess the special ability called “Undead Power”, which basically turns human into zombies via the “Zombie Impact” process. Straightforward, huh? And creepy. Did I say creepy? Yes, it’s creepy.
After turning them peacefully-minding-their-own-business menfolk that you turned into Undeads, you will then use them to build an army to fight against the invading enemies. Cos you know, humans don’t function as well as when they’re zombified. Control them to your whims, all with the goal of defending your territory.
It all seems quite maniacal to me, but hey, it’s interesting enough, and as long as this “Undead Power” remains to be just a reality in the virtual world, I guess am cool with that. Japan‘s getting this game come Fall. Let’s hope they don’t get any bright ideas from it.
