Xbox 360 - Image 1There’s one thing that unites gamers more than anything: a fellow gamer in need. We’ve just caught word of another “sent console for service” shenanigan and it’s again a story about Microsoft and an Xbox 360. What do you do when you send your Xbox 360 for service, and get suspected of stealing it?

We’ve heard all sorts of customer service horror stories before, and for this particular case, customer service seems particularly impossible. The customer sends the 360 in question for service, which gets sent back to her home address while she was at work. Package goes on a roundabout and ends up back at Microsoft. The customer calls Microsoft again and customer service promises that they’ll send the package to her work address the next time.

Then the craziness happened. Apparently, the suspicion came from the fact the owner requested two repair orders. The problem is, the said customer had sent her receipt (yes, she’s a girl) and credit card statement proving ownership, but to no avail. As of this writing, the Xbox 360 in question has been MIA for four months.

What do you guys think? Should she go and hit Microsoft with the lawsuit bat? Or at least, file in small claims court?
