DAoC: Pendragon up with Test Version 1.86

Go, Hasteners!

After a long hiatus (a mini Dark Age, if you will), Pendragon is back up in The Dark Ages of Camelot, and it’s back with a vengeance of new patches and bug fixes. The Hasteners seem to have had the brunt with all the supe-ups, and most likely, there’s going to be more where those came from, so you might want to stick around for more.

Anyways, the whole spell system of casting secondaries have also been tweaked and should probably work well now. No more of the WTF moments that make you stumble in the dark. That’s a relief. We must all know how secondary spells are such a help, and how much of disappointment it is to have no effect at times. Well, that’s been fixed, so no more worries there.

Mythic Entertainment is now ready with Test Version 1.86g, and here’s what’s new:

NEW THINGS AND BUG FIXES

  • New Hasteners have come to town. They are working hard near the crafting areas of the capital cities.
  • The three main Hastener spells have had their duration increased to ten minutes.
  • All three main Hastener spells have had their speed increased.
  • Friendly pulsing spells should no longer be canceled by secondary cast spells.
  • Secondary cast spells are now cleared when you die. This should prevent situations where a player would die mid cast, and finish casting after releasing or being resurrected.

CAMELOT CLASSIC WORLD NOTES

  • The mini-map for Darkness Falls has been overhauled.
  • It should now be easier for players to zone in to DeliahÂ’s Den.

PVP SERVER

  • The Hasteners have returned to their stations within the three main capital cities.
