Battle Rage PC - Image 1Data Design Interactive, a UK-based video game company which you may know for its work in Ninjabread Man and several racing games, just announced that it inked a deal with Destan Entertainment to develop a Nintendo Wii version of Battle Rage, a third-person shooter scheduled to appear on PC later this year. It will be published as part of Popcorn Arcade, Data Design Interactive’s line of budget Nintendo Wii titles.

While there’s enough shooting in Battle Rage: The Robot Wars, players receive a fair share of beat ’em up since the towering mechs can also go physical using their massive frames. Given Data Design Interactive’s experience with the Wii, according to the announcement through press wire, it expects to come up with a faithful port of a PC game with high-end visuals.

Here’s the list of Battle Rage‘s key features for all the mech fighting fans:

  • Single player and Multiplayer modes.
  • Arcade mode with a separate Storyline for each of the robots characters.
  • Robot Customization.
  • Compelling mechanics (Rage, Rush, Power Traingle).
  • Special Attacks (push, stun and other unique abilities for each robot).
  • Robots allowed to fight with 3 weapons at the same time (two ranged and one melee).
  • 8 different robots.
  • 20 weapons.
  • 10 arenas.
