Dragon Quest Swords make an appearance at Famitsu

Famitsu scan

If you’re wondering what happened to the sword-slashing Wii title, Dragon Quest Swords, don’t fret as we’re sure Square Enix is working really hard on it. After all, it’s one of the biggest RPG titles, so the devs are probably spending their time making sure that the Wii version is at par with everybody’s standards.

After a long hiatus from QJ, Dragon Quest Swords is back, with Akira Toriyama‘s trademark characters (monsters included) tagging along. We got Famitsu scans of the upcoming game, and it sure looks fun (for those who are proficient in Japanese, now’s your cue to share in the comments any details you understand in the magazine scans). Imagine the hacking and slashing you’re going to do with the Wiimote, with Akira Toriyama characters to boot.

The release date’s supposed to be around spring of next year, but we can never be too sure. After all, it might hit our doorsteps before we know it. And we sure would love that ,wouldn’t we? Anyway, while waiting for that to happen, feel free to ogle at the Famitsu scan that we have for you guys here. Enjoy!
