Now here’s something that may interest those who play both Guitar Hero and Rock Band games: according to Activision, the Xbox 360 version of is Guitar Hero: World Tour (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii), also known as Guitar Hero 4, is compatible with Rock Band instruments.

It’s most certainly a nice move. Those who follow the industry news concerning both Activision’s Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (Xbox 360, Wii, PC, PlayStation 3) and Harmonix‘s Rock Band (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii) know that the developers of both games had a small tiff with each other involving controller compatibility.
