Earthworm Jim for DSiWare lets you mimic Jim’s face to earn bonuses

More details have come to light regarding the DSiWare remake of Earthworm Jim. Perhaps most interestingly, players will get bonuses in the new game by mimicking Jim’s facial expressions. Better start brushing up on your Jim impressions now.

 

 

 

 

More details have come to light regarding the DSiWare remake of Earthworm Jim.

 

Among the changes Gameloft is making to the game are redrawn sprites, a brighter color palette, and improved sound quality. Some of the game’s original music will also be remixed. There will also be an easy mode where enemies are slowed down and Jim takes reduced damage.

 

Perhaps most interestingly, players will get bonuses in the new game by mimicking Jim’s facial expressions, presumably through the use of the DSi’s built-in camera. Not something you’d want to do in public, I imagine.
