ESRB hinting at Castlevania Chronicles on PSN?

Castlevania Chronicles - Image 1Things are getting more and more interesting in the PlayStation Network scene as far as the ESRB is concerned the past few days. Yesterday we spotted Wipeout XL listed in for the Sony PlayStation 3 and PSP. Today, we have more good news as Castlevania Chronicles is also in the mix.

If you follow the read link below, you’ll land right into the ESRB page where it’s down in a table, also bannered under the PSP and the PS3. Similar to Wipeout XL, a remake isn’t quite the most possible thing in the world, so a PSN release is the safest thing to anticipate at this point.

If you’re not too familiar with what Castlevania Chronicles is, we can’t blame you. It was the English version of a Japanese game called Akumajo Dracula in Japan. It tells the tale of vampire hunter Simon Belmont who sets out on his quest to defeat the ever-vicious Count Dracula. Sounds all too familiar? Yep, the old man just doesn’t quit, does he? The good thing is that we’ve had fun each and every time he’s risen from the dead. We’ll give you an update if this ever comes into fruition.
