EverQuest II: Kingdom of the Sky shipping error

That’s right, Sony Online Entertainment has messed up their shipping of the Kingdom of the Sky expansion to Europe by shipping the expansion with some missing files, requiring a lenghty download. In order to make things right with the players that are frustrated with this error, SOE is offering all affected subscribers a free week of game time. Does this make everything ok? I guess that is a matter of opinion.

“We’ve been made aware of an issue with the European distribution of Kingdom of Sky that can cause our European customers to experience lengthy download times as a result of missing files on the disc. As such, we will be granting customers who purchased the European distribution of KoS an extra week of free game time after registering a Kingdom of Sky key. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.”
