Famitsu readers not warming up to Dragon Quest IX says survey

Square Enix's stocks may have increased after that press conference where they said that Dragon Quest IXis heading to the DS, but the survey results about Famitsu readers' feelings toward Dragon Quest IX may rain on Square Enix's grand parade. Insert Credit reports that when these readers we're asked if they welcome the game on the DS, here's what they said:

• 40.3% say "Yes"
• 46% say "No"
• 5.2% say "Neither"
• 8.5% say "I'm not sure yet"

From the looks of it, most of them Famitsu readers are somewhat favoring the negative. But then again, it's still too early to say if that game would be a huge hit or if it will tank in the market. Besides, the Nintendo DS is lording over the Japanese market so we're quite certain that Square Enix is confident that they will hit the right spot. But then again, we could be wrong.
