Final Fantasy XI Opens Kokba Hostel

The developers of Final Fantasy XI has announced the opening of Kokba Hostel in the game’s upcoming version update. The Kokba Hostel, found in the Treasures of Aht Urghan area,  is a private room that can be reserved by players for one hour. Players now have a space where they can hang out and relax without unwanted creatures snooping around. The hostel functions as a group strategy meeting place, a wedding reception, a place to celebrate victories, or anything you can think of, it’s really up to you. Just make sure you make reservations in one-hour slots (Earth time). Of course, with the convenience it provides, entrance to Kokba Hostel is not free, though the price will be set to an affordable amount. That shouldn’t stop you at all, especially when food and temporary party items are given once you enter the hostel.

Before you spread the word, remember that: “players can make reservations for up to two days in advance, but are limited to one reservation at a time. If the player who made a reservation fails to show, or no reservation has been made for the current time slot, it is possible to reserve the hostel on the spot.” Those who made the reservation will be asked to set a password. Only players who input the password can enter the hostel during the reservation period, and that just makes your party gatecrasher-free.
