If a picture’s worth a thousand words, you may want to take a look at Flying Lab Software‘s visual previews for the Pirates of the Burning Sea UI. Some of them are more cosmetic in nature, but others are completely new, such as the Exchange Shops.

Janice “fraxl” von Itter of Flying Lab Software showed PotBS players a couple of pictures of how the Marks of Victory Exchange Shop will look like in-game. The left most picture shows the British Exchange Shop NPC, while the middle picture shows the actual exchange taking place. Of course, having more MoVs will get players cooler stuff. Furthermore, the Swashbuckling supply shops will now give players a loot-selling alternative to the auction house.

The rightmost picture above indicates what the new PotBS Mission Journal is like. Flying Lab Software basically reorganized the UI in such a way as to make it more user-friendly. For example, the developer improved the colors, adjusted the mission difficulty display, added lines to the list structure, fixed the mission names and moved the Group Mission tab to the main list.

There’s a lot more about Pirates of the Burning Sea Patch 1.3 to cover, so stay tuned for more updates from Flying Lab Software regarding these.
