Gamespot’s Greg Kasavin retiring from EIC post

Greg KasavinOftentimes, pursuing a dream is bittersweet. Next week will mark the last for Gamespot‘s Editor-In-Chief Greg Kasavin, as he announced his resignation from the web publication two days ago. For the guys unfamiliar with Greg, he started out as a college intern over at Gamespot in 1996, and has been writing for the site up until the announcement.

As for the reasons of his departure, Greg explains that he’s been offered a juicy new post at still-unnamed game developer. A lot of us will remember his humorous but honest game reviews, and like you guys, we’re hoping they can find somebody who can write on Greg’s calibre soon.

On one hand, we’re happy for Greg – you have to respect people with the courage to pursue a dream. On the other, we’re already missing him. We’re just hoping to get more details on his move, as much as some other high-profile guys who have been moving.
