Green with envy: Japanese Virtual Console line-up

Zelda: Link to the PastAnd once again, the Japanese public gets all the fun as seen in the recently-released list of games available for the Wii’s Virtual Console which will be made available in Japan. As compared to the American and European versions, one major difference is that the Japanese list contains goodies such as Zelda: A Link to the Past, Super Contra, Legend of Kage, and Puyo Puyo.

Another point of difference is that where everyone else needs 800 Wii points for a Genesis game, Japanese gamers will only pay 600 Wii points for them, which computes to about two or three US dollars less than usual. So are these part of the perks of living in Nintendo’s country of birth?

In any case, the list included here isn’t final yet as even more titles will be added before the end of the year, which would most likely include titles such as Comix Zone, Gain Ground, and Bonanza Brothers.
