Guitar Hero 5 (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PS2) is coming on September 1, 2009, so says the official website for the next iteration in the famous (and over-saturated) music-game franchise. Promising a list of 85 bands, GH5 will allow the use of four instruments of the same type all at once. Since we’re all up for experimentation here, Math Rock, anyone?

Further reports would indicate that Gorillaz, Duran Duran, Beastie Boys, Bush, Blur and more are confirmed to be in the game.
