Hope for the lefties: left-handed Guitar Hero controller mod

  

Lefties, rejoice (Sorry, Link – you don’t count as a lefty anymore)! In Kevin McArdle’s photo account in SmugMug, he’s uploaded some pics of his left-handed Guitar Hero controller mod. The sad part about it is that it’s all in pictures and does not contain any specific instructions as to how the mod is done. The good part? Well, it looks like such a simple mod that the pictures are pretty self explanatory.

From what it looks like, the mod’s crucial point is the whammy bar, which in the end would have to be switched onto the other side of the guitar controller to suit lefties. We’re not sure if the same mod could be done to one of the new Xbox 360 Guitar Hero II controllers though, due to its asymmetrical shape… Anyone willing to take the risk?
