Hyrule Will Take 45 Minutes to Cross in Twilight Princess?

Zelda TP

IGN’s “Games of Fall 2006” feature gave us new little tidbit on The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. It looks like going from one side of Hyrule to the other in this new game will take 45 real time minutes. That’s not by foot either, it’s by horseback. Like Mr. Iwata once said, “You will say wow.”

Twilight Princess will not only be bigger – a horse ride from one side of Hyrule to the next is rumored to take 45 real minutes – but much more ambitious than ever before.

Keep in mind that this is just a rumor. However, if it turns out to be true… You’d better hope it’s not just barren field! Then again, after over two years in development, we think we can trust the Zelda team to keep it interesting. This just very well may be the greatest game of all time.
