Now is your chance to see how much rockstar potential you have in you. Play N Trade Franchise has announced today that they will be holding the first ever National Guitar Hero II video contest and Live-In Store National Tournament for Red Octane’s Guitar Hero II.

Joining is easy. All you have to do is submit your Guitar HeroII rock videos to YouTube‘s page for the Guitar HeroII video contest, and voila! You now have a chance to win an Xbox 360 Guitar Hero II bundle or a 50 Play N Trade in-store gift card, apart from getting your video posed up on their official site. The video must be less than four minutes long and must feature somebody playing a Guitar Hero guitar. You have until June 16 to get your groove on.

As for the Live-In Store Tournament, it will be held on June 16 as well at participating Play N Trade stores throughout the U.S. and Puerto Rico. In order to get to the National Championships, you would have to get past the single elimination in the best two out of three matches. If you do get the title, then you will be receiving a 100 in-store gift card, as well as a Guitar Hero Champion T-shirt.

Then, come June 23, the local winners from each participating branch will then compete by playing Free Bird at the expert level on the Xbox 360. The one who gets the highest points will be the proclaimed National Guitar Hero champ.
