Koller: Recently announced PSP lineup just “half the story”, more coming
John Koller has revealed a few more things about the PSP’s recently-announced lineup in an interview with MTV Multiplayer. Nothing really big concerning the already revealed titles was announced in the interview apart from Assassin’s Creed being a “completely different game, unique to the PSP”, but Koller says that all we’ve heard is just the tip of the iceberg.
John Koller has revealed a few more things about the PSP’s recently-announced lineup in an interview with MTV Multiplayer. Nothing really big concerning the already revealed titles was announced in the interview apart from Assassin’s Creed being a “completely different game, unique to the PSP”, but Koller says that all we’ve heard is just the tip of the iceberg:
The announcements we made are half the story. There’s another half still to be announced in the next couple of months-slash E3. A lot of first and third-party titles that are coming in the back half of the year want to hold their announcement until E3 timeframe. There’s a few pretty ‘majors’ coming still in that franchise line, but we wanted to whet people’s appetite.
Whoo! Consider our appetites whetted, Mr. Koller. Honestly, I had started to think that Sony‘s “2009 is the year of the PSP” line was nothing more than that – a line – so I’m really glad that they’re finally moving to turn it into a reality.
