Konami Summer and Fall Line-up

KonamiKonami reveals their upcoming games for the summer and fall and hopefully some of these games will make an appearance in E3.

For all those Konami dance simulation freaks, there would be not one…not two…but 3 Dance Dance Revolution releases but on different consoles. Although these DDR games are still the same in terms of gameplay, they just added a subtitle to each new DDR coming out. The first one that will be released will be on the PS2 on 10/11/2006 entitled DDR SuperNova; Secondly, DDR Universe will be dancing on your 360 at 10/11/2006; The 4th DDR Ultramix will be stepping to your Xbox around 11/14/2006. If you’re not a dancer then you maybe you can sing because Konami is releasing a new Karaoke Revolution for the PS2, the American Idol. I know what you’re thinking and no, Simon is not there to piss you off.

Aside from the simulation games, the well-known games of  Konami will also make a comeback. Bomberman will explode his way to the 360 and PSP in Bomberman: Act Zero which will be released in 7/12/2006. For those who doesn’t know yet, there would be a Silent Hill Movie and coming to a cinema near you. The movie is really about the first game but they changed a few details like making the main protagonist a mother. My point is that there would be a Silent Hill 1 remake for the PSP and will have a few changes from the original game for the sake of the movie. For those Castlevania fans who can’t get enough, there would be another Castlevania, named Portrait of Ruin, that will whip towards your DS at 11/15/2006. Death Jr. is glad to finally have its first sequel and will make an appearance on both the PSP and the DS in 10/18/2006 and a week after the release of Science Fair of Doom respectively.

Overall, Konami has one great line-up for us gamers this summer and fall. I look forward on playing these games especially DDR, Silent Hill and of course Castlevania.
