LOTRO, behind the black hood: the Nazgul of Angmar

No man can kill me. DIE. - Image 1Why Turbine Inc. would have to dedicate their latest Creatures of Middle-Earth feature to them… the Nazgul. The Black Riders. They Who Bring Despair To Men’s Hearts. One of whom puts the Shadow in The Shadow of Angmar, and by the way, also puts the Witch-King in The Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-Earth II: Rise of the Witch King. Boys in the hood. You get the picture.

They are the consequence of accepting rings from a complete stranger who turns out to be a disemboweled red eye on a tower in Mordor. They ain’t pretty to look at (ask Frodo), they ain’t pretty to even be near by. But any self-respecting resident of Middle-Earth would know that already. So take a tip from Tolkien himself. Unless you are no man (which in one notable case translated to a female human and a male hobbit), and you have a sword forged to pierce the Nazgul’s skin, run. Run like heck.

Something tells us the Nazgul aren’t going to become the subject of a supercreep mob hut anytime soon. Unless it was an all-female hunting party or something.
