LucasArts to reveal live Lego Indiana Jones footage at GDC 2008

Lego Indiana Jones - Image 1It’s been twenty-seven years since the first Indiana Jones film graced the big screen and perhaps it’s only fitting that the younger Dr. Henry Jones Jr. received the honor in the form of a Lego figure and a game, to boot.

Speaking of which, LucasArts plans to reveal live footage of the Lego Indiana Jones video game to interested viewers at this year’s Game Developer’s Conference. More on the miniature Indy right after the jump.

Art of the Lego Indiana Jones Video Game - Image 1With developers preparing for the upcoming 2008 Game Developer’s Conference (GDC) in San Francisco this month, expect to see and hear more than just talks by noted developers at the esteemed conference. There will be presentations of live gameplay footage as well, one of which will be Lucas ArtsLego Indiana Jones: The Video Game.

Lucas Arts will be hosting their presentation at the Presidio campus during the conference. Technology behind another Lucas Arts title, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (PS3, Wii, Xbox 360, DS, PSP) will also be part of the show.

Needless to say, we’re intrigued. Now all that’s needed to complete the mix is for Harrison Ford himself to grace the GDC with his presence.
