Knowing how to promote and sell your products is really important, especially if you’re in the industry of gaming where competition is simply cut-throat. From pamphlets to banners, print ads and 3D models of the products itself, the goal is to get the attention of the market and embed in their consciousness the existence of your product.

Sometimes they work, sometimes they don’t.

We don’t know if it’s a case of the second scenario, but for some reason, Sony has decided to bring down the enormous PSP billboard near Houston Street in Manhattan. Put up by Sony last spring, the ad has generated mixed reactions from New Yorkers, with most finding it an eyesore, and a probable disaster. Nonetheless, it’s highly doubtful if the PSP’s popularity will suffer just because they took the PSP billboard down. Maybe come next season, they’ll have something new put up.
