Merry Gear Solid: Secret Santa by Arthur “The Podunkian” Lee is a grid based holiday-styled stealth action game for your PC. It is unabashedly similar to Hideo Kojima’s work, and as a fun casual game it serves as a pretty nice homage to the original. This grid-based game was entered in the Daily Click Grid-Based X-mas game competition.

The game takes around 10-20 minutes to complete, so it’s pretty short. Also, if you’re not a fan of the series, then the game’s plot might confuse you a bit, as the game is very much related to the storyline of Kojima’s series.

The game features AI with sight and hearing, 4 different tools for you to distract your enemies, full voice acting, a ranking system that helps keep track of in-game stats, and original music. Since the game is relatively short, the developer figures that no save system is necessary.
