Audio Mechanica by Art - Image 1

Still trying to get your money’s worth out of that USB microphone, eh? Well, enter Art. He’s updated his Audio Mechanica digital recorder application to v8b, which builds on the v8 release from the other day (the one which added Talkman USB mic support).

This v8b release adds some features which were included in previous versions, but didn’t make it to the v8 release. Here’s the changelog:

  • Implemented echo loop effect with adjustable delay. Works with all microphone hardware.
  • Implemented dual channel wave monitor for echo mode with extremely accurate delay indicator.
  • Implemented Voice activated recording for RAM buffered recording mode.
  • Fixed the Home button exit screen.

Art notes that, for some reason, he’s been having problems with the Talkman mic recording directly onto the memory stick, so as Art explains: “its functionality for now is limited to the RAM buffered recording mode.”

Make sure you read the documentation included in the downloadable archive!
