Milk and cereal: two WoW holiday contests

Before you roast those chestnuts over an open fire and get all snugly and cuddly under the mistletoe, you better make sure your camera is ready and that the oven has already been pre-heated. There’s two new contests in World of Warcraft and you’ve got to put out some creative juices besides those cookies for Santa.

Yes, Azeroth has a Christmas party of its own too, y’know. Their holiday-themed contests, both running from December 12 to the 27th, can just win you an autographed copy of WoW: Burning Crusade!

The first contest is the 2006 Holiday Screenshot. All you’ve got to do is keep your eyes peeled for the best depictions of holiday celebrations across Azeroth. The bigger the party, the better. The top five get the prize. As for the other contest, you’ll need a bit more skill and some time off the computer.

Blizzard wants to see their worlds come alive in cookie form! We’re talking real cookies here, the type that you really bake at home and not one which you might buy in some orcish tuck shop in Azeroth. They’re expanding this category over to any other Blizzard game (e.g. Starcraft, Diablo…), so make sure your cookie cutter is cut out to make the prize-winning spots of top five.
