Move Over Pink DS Lite, the ‘Pikachu Daisuki’ (I Love Pikachu) DS Lite Is Here
The Pink DS Lite caused quite a commotion when it was released in Japan. Now here’s another special-edition DS Lite that’s getting the good folks over there all excited once again. We can all blame the Pokemon Daisuki Fan Club, the official Pokemon fan club run by Nintendo, for causing this disturbance. The club’s started a special summer campaign which will see 150 members walk away with a special Crystal White DS Lite with four Pickachu faces painted on top. It’s officially called the “DS Lite Pikachu Daisuki Version”, or, in English, the “I Love Pikachu Version” – just another way of showing your undying affection for the adorable Pokemon creature.
With a production run of only 150 units, this jazzed-up DS Lite will surely command a hefty price tag on eBay. That is, if owners can ever bring themselves to sell theirs.
