Namco talks about Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection’s online patch
Tekken 6 still has a few months left in the Namco dojo, so to speak, but series fans will have something to cool those fists of rage over at the PlayStation Network while they wait. By the end of this month, developers promise that Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection‘s online patch will be up for downloads. The devs talk about details in this clip:
Off the bat, the idea seems to be to turn PS3-equipped living rooms into virtual arcades where people take turns to try and topple dominant players. Consideration has been given to fine-tune the game’s speed as combos which make or break fights will inevitably be compromised by lag issues. Details haven’t been given as to what exactly was done to minimize this but Namco says they applied what’s in the best interest of users everywhere.

Heihachi Mishima’s activities with his son and grandson has awakened their grand-daddy Jinpachi, and the Patriarch is out for blood.
