Valkyrie Profile: The Accused One - Image 1Finally, more information and new screenshots for the much awaited Valkyrie Profile: The Accused One for the Nintendo DS! While they’re not much, they’re certainly enough to fuel guesses and speculations about the upcoming game’s gameplay system and storyline. Check out what we’ve got so far in the full article.

It’s been only a few days since the announcement of Tri-Ace‘s Valkyrie Profile: The Accused One for the Nintendo DS and we now have new details concerning the latest addition to the popular Square Enix franchise along with a handful of new screenshots.

While we’re trying to struggle to understand the text with our meager Japanese language skills, here’s what we have gleaned so far (but we may be mistaken as well, so don’t hesitate to notify us if we mentioned something that’s less than accurate): Wilfred’s issues against the Valkyries have something to do to the series of misfortunes his family suffered, like his mother’s “impaired memory,” and his sister’s waning health.

We’re not entirely sure about how and why the Valkyries have anything to do with his misfortunes, but we’ll find out for certain in later updates. In the meantime, you may notice some in-game screenshots that give you a glimpse of Valkyrie Profile: The Accused One‘s gameplay system, the most noticeable being the one with the words “Soul Crush” written on top of the screen. How does it work?

We may not have any pertinent information regarding Valkyrie Profile: The Accused One‘s premise gameplay system, but feel free to speculate. More updates to come!
