Next Gears update to improve roadie run, add achievements
Mark Rein, Epic Games VP, recently made an announcement on the Gears of War forums which should make many fans quite happy. Rein discussed the current status of a future Gears of War update, which should add some gameplay fixes and additional goodies to the FPS.
Rein mentioned that in addition to improving the Roadie Run level, they would also be implementing new achievements. Here’s his statement, straight from the GoW forums:
In addition to the previously mentioned plan to improve roadie run we’re also going to have new achievements relating to Annex and the Hidden Fronts DLC. Of course no title update would be complete without more exploit squashing and the ever-popular “general housekeeping”.
According to Rein’s post, however, there wasn’t any specific timeframe for the release of the new update. In the meantime, we’ll keep you posted on any news regarding this future content update for the game.
