Ah, Wii Music. The only Wii-branded Nintendo title not to sell oodles and oodles of copies (it only sold a half-oodle). It looks like Nintendo’s going to music teachers to keep the game in “evergreen” mode, though.

According to a press release, Nintendo is teaming up with music teachers to bring Wii Music and Wii consoles to classrooms. Says Cammie Dunaway, NoA’s executive VP of Sales & Marketing, the goal here is to “give students a memorable, hands-on experience that helps them discover their own creative voice.”

Nintendo’s collaborators include MENC: The National Association for Music Education, which will help teachers in 51 cities across the nation integrate Wii Music into their curricula.San Francisco’s Blue Bear School of Music and New York’s Opus 118 Harlem School of Music have also signed on.

Well, at least someone’s getting some mileage out of Wii Music.
