This week’s releases for your Blu-ray home entertainment is very different from last week’s action-packed movies. The list for this week is a bit on the scant side (five titles), but we won’t write them off just yet.

Guess what this week’s theme is? Mostly comedy. After the zombie fest the other week and the bullet ridden releases of last week, don’t you think it’s about time we got some light comedies like Good Luck Chuck, Mr. Woodcock, and Suburban Girl? Also included for this week is a 1980 film, Breaker Morant, and heavy drama movie Went to Coney Island on a Mission from God…Be Back by Five (that sure is a mouthful). Anyway, let’s get on with the releases.

Let’s first take a look at the movie Mr. Woodcock, which stars Billy Bob Thornton as the mean gym teacher and Seann William Scott as an author of a self-help book. Disaster starts when John Farley (Scott) finds out that his old gym teacher Mr. Woodcock (Thornton) is dating his mother. What would YOU do?

Breaker Morant is a folk hero in Australia (like Daniel Boone and Davy Crockett) and  well, the movie made about him centered on his murder trial along with two other soldiers, Peter Handcock and George Witton. You might might want to check it out for its quotable quotes and award winning performances.

Anyway, check out the rest of this week’s releases in convenient list form:

  • Good Luck Chuck (Lionsgate Films)
  • Mr. Woodcock (New Line Cinema)
  • Breaker Morant (Image Entertainment)
  • Suburban Girl (Image Entertainment)
  • Went to Coney Island on a Mission from God…Be Back by Five (Starz Home Entertainment)
