Operation Flashpoint: Red River details coming to OXM

Operation Flashpoint: Red River was recently revealed by Codemasters. Not much details were revealed apart from the fact that it will be released sometime next year, 2011, and that it will be coming to the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. But we hear that if you pick up a copy of OXM, you might get a couple more tidbits on it.

The magazine will be in stores in UK by next week, and the publication has claimed to have actually seen the game already. It describes it to be “tighter” and “more focused than its predecessor, Dragon Rising.

 

 

 

 

 

Editor Jon Hicks said, “Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising was tremendously ambitious,but struggled to deliver. So we are pleased to see that the sequel is a tighter, more focused game that’s nevertheless still striving for a more realistic recreation of warfare.”
