Looks like Altair’s Assassin’s Creed costume is being passed around and recycled like fruitcake presents from three Christmases ago. After being donned by none other than Solid Snake in MGS4, Altair’s red-and-white robes go to the Prince as an unlockable costume in Prince of Persia.

The devs at Ubisoft are making this unlockable costume a giveaway – a simple thank you to the gamers. According to the press release, all you have to do to unlock it is link your PSN or XBL account to a Ubisoft account (register in their official website to get one).

As of now, this is the second Prince of Persia costume unlock we’ve heard of. The first one would be the Prince of Persia classic skins, available via pre-order.

Oh, and in case you were wondering about that dev diary we promised yesterday, it’s already up – you can check the video here.

Ubisoft’s Prince of Persia for the the PS3, Xbox 360, and DS is set to sizzle this Christmas season with a retail release on December 2 in North America, December 4 in Europe, and December 5 in the UK.
